David Denneny’s Fight Against Cancer
On January 16th, after quite some time of David not feeling well, mostly fatigue and body aches, a colonoscopy and CT Scans confirmed colon cancer. David has surgery on January to have cancer removed and is now in the middle of Chemotherapy treatments.
Washington Elementary Library Renovation
Mount Vernon's Washington Elementary Library is bursting at the seams and needs our help! Renovating this space means that WE students will be able to access age-appropriate books in a safe environment designed to meet the needs of everyone who uses it.
Mason United
Mason was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Mason's first round of chemotherapy was administered on October 17, and he has at least 12 more weeks of chemo. The hope is his tumor will shrink so that is can be removed.
Support for Lauren Fisher
On October 16, Lauren encountered one of the most significant challenges of her young life: a full liver transplant. Please join us in this collective outpouring of love, positivity, and strength for Lauren as we accompany her on her path toward healing.

Sharon Guthrie's Road to Recovery
Sharon was involved in a serious motorcycle accident and is in stable but critical condition at the University of Iowa Hospital. She is strong and with our support we can lift some of the burden as she starts her long road to recovery.
